TONIGHT: VALENTINES DAY HILARITY

Way way way better than dinner for a  ..ho-hum.. “holiday”…  The Torch Club will be hosting 8 couples who met at the club..  And we’ll be putting them through the pain and embarrassment (lol) of a “Newlywed-Style” Gameshow!  Come point and laugh as they compete for a big ol’ bunch of swag and prizes.  Following is Candy’s River House at 9.  Seriously, if you’re girl is up to this, she’s a keeper.

TONIGHT: CANDY’S RIVER HOUSE

Those who are looking to satisfy a vintage rock sweet tooth need look no further than Salt Lake City based power trio Candy’s River House. This ’70s rock resurrection leaves little to be desired with their all out, high energy performances. The gruff, dusty throated Jordan Young peels through heavy layers of blazing guitar and mean bass lines from start to finish in a bluesy, soulful rock soup. Fitting for a massive summer festival or a sweaty dive bar, Candy’s River House is a classic melding of every hard rock band leading the way 40 years ago, with pieces of Nazareth, Skynyrd, Cream and Deep Purple coursing through its veins. –Jessica Pace-The Pulse

TONIGHT: HOLY CHILD

“Where is a home, anywhere you roam” The Holy Child is a band of 4 musicians dedicated to sharing their soul inspired groove to the world. With their mixture of Soul, Funk, and R&B, you can’t help but tap your foot or even get up and start dancing to their melodies. The band lays down a funky jam on the piano, bass, and drums; while the soulful singing takes you through their message of peace, love, harmony, and passion. Shows typically end with audiences screaming, whistling, and crying out for more tunes. Now on the road for the past 2 months, The Holy Child has found a home in any and all cities they play music in.

TONIGHT: VINTAGE VANDALS and DELTA CITY RAMBLERS

The Vintage Vandals are Northern California’s premier live rockabilly band and are known throughout the west coast for their high-energy, high-personality, live performances.  Their popular mix of crowd-pleasing originals and classics from the “good ol’ days” show their country and bluegrass influences but stay true to the rockabilly style and never fail to get their audience’s toes tapping.  With Cat Daddy Corey Bolen on guitar, Dan J. DeVille on drums, and Nick “The Heartthrob” Lamb on stand-up bass, this trio brings with them the class of Johnny Cash, the energy of Chuck Berry and a musicianship all of their own.

TONIGHT: AC MYLES

Top Five Reasons to See AC Myles Tonight:  #5:  He’s an uncommonly fine smellin’ fella.  #4:  He’s really really cute.  #3  He’ll make you laugh till you pee.   #2  With the tone he gets from that guitar he’ll rip the still beating heart right outta ya, then hand it back with a smile..   Number One Reason to Come Out and See AC Myles Tonight:  You won’t get nothing better sitting on your sofa.  What’ll ya have?

TONIGHT: VOLKER STRIFLER

Volker Strifler is a stunningly unique and creative guitarist who’s original style of Blues/Roots, are innovative explorations into rock, jazz, and Latin rhythms. With his highly acclaimed latest release Let the Music Rise Strifler bounces back and forth between them all, with several stops in New Orleans along the way, but he never loses the blues feeling. Most importantly of all, the music is FUN!

TONIGHT: STEVEN ROTH

With roots in the classics and an eye on innovation, Roth’s sound can best be described as a refreshing flavor of roots-rock / soul filled iwth melody, mood, energy and honesty.  His approach likens his sound to the late 60s rock wave of raw emotion and organic experimentation, but Roth adds a sharp edge of his own, making fresh incisions at will.
