TONIGHT: VANDELLA WITH WEST NILE RAMBLERS

vandella_3

Vandella draws their music from Motown, classic rock, Southern rock, folk-rock, blues, and modern-day sounds of indie pop/rock. It’s like if Ryan Adams was backed by The Band, or Jenny Lewis took over for Jay Farrah and Jeff Tweedy in Uncle Tupelo. It’s 1970s rock via the present.

Coming Up: Putt Your Buns Off

One more warning for ya’ll..  the Annual Albie Puttin’ tourney is coming up this Saturday, and you’ll see people all over town wielding golf clubs in manners that probably are not condoned by the USGA.  Heyyy..  stop that.  But eh.. its fun, and it’s all in the name of benefitting Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation.  Go here for more info on the foundation, then come out puttin’ for a great cause.
