Tracorum is an original Rock’n’Soul/Rhythm’n’Blues band from San Francisco, California. Serving as a touring and studio vehicle for the music of songwriter/pianist Fletcher Nielsen, epic live shows and original music are at the heart of this soul quenching, eclectic bay area talent. Steeped in traditional roots music the band has continued to create a positively unique sound that is the vast umbrella known as Tracorum.

Gypsy jazz with a twist – echoes of Django’s Hot Club of France, and flamenco, and smatterings of Tom Waits bluesy funk, and occasional soulful and tender ballads old and new, plus strains of 1930 ‘s and 40’s burlesque cabaret, round out Beso Negro ‘s heady stew, which guarantees you will move parts of your body you forgot you had and travel to places in spirit with your fellow Beso Negro aficionados where you wish you could live more of the time – mostly original compositions…

Joy&Madness is a reunion of sorts, pulling together 6 former members of The Nibblers, a Sacramento based funk and soul phenomenon that quickly rose to prominence  in  the NorCal area and beyond in 2011 and 2012, winning 3 SAMMIE awards for funk and culminating in an invitation to play the esteemed High Sierra Music Festival.
After a Nibbler split in May of 2012 that left singer Hans Eberbach jettisoned from the band, 5 of the 7 remaining Nibblers, Jeremy Springer-keys, Andrew Enberg – Drums, Tony-Marvelli-Trumpet, Raul Sandoval-Baritone Sax, Joe Cohen-Tenor Sax, rejoined Eberbach at the end of 2012 to form Joy&Madness, carrying on that same ecstatic sound, but this time with a focus on original tunes and new juice added to that well known sound. The band is now rounded out by Nyxi Springer on bass guitar and Odell Ross on lead/rhythm guitar.
Get ready to lose your mind in the white hot soul and deep delicious grooves of a new era of dance floor meltdown – Joy&Madness
